Creative art sessions à la carte.
Watercolour, drawing, printmaking, embroidery or mosaic: pick your craft and settle in for 2 hours in our creative art studio in Montmartre. All materials are provided. We explain everything when you arrive, and we come by your table throughout the session for a tip or a question. You leave with your creation: a postcard of your holidays, a hand-embroidered napkin, a pastel poster for your flat… We've already seen wonders come off these tables.

Each craft includes its basic surface: paper for watercolour and drawing, paper prints for lino, fabric square for embroidery, a coaster for mosaic. Other surfaces (tee, towel, trivet, frame) are offered on site for a small extra. And you can bring your own: jeans to embroider, a tote to print, anything you fancy customising.

How does an à la carte studio session work?
You come once, no commitment, for two hours. Book your arrival time online or drop in if a table is free, and pick your craft when you arrive (watercolour, drawing and pastel, lino printing, embroidery or mosaic). We bring out the materials and the basic surface, and we explain everything: the technique, the tools, where to start. Then someone from the team comes round the tables for the whole session, for a tip, a move to show you or a question. No level required, no membership: if you fancy a single mosaic session on a Saturday afternoon, this is exactly it. You pay on site when you leave, at the price of the craft you picked. Come alone with a sketchbook, as a couple for a date, or as a group around the big table. And if your piece isn't finished, we keep it for your next visit. The difference with a workshop? A workshop has a theme and a date, and an artist guides the whole group step by step, from start to finish.
Who guides you during the session?
Us, the two sisters who run the café, and the team. We come from a family of artists: a sculptor mother, a ceramist father and brother, and we grew up in their studios watching people discover a craft for the first time. There's no syllabus to follow, and you're never left alone in front of a blank sheet: we settle you in, show you the first moves (holding the gouge, judging the water, setting a tessera), then come round the tables all session long and fix whatever is stuck. If you'd rather create in your own bubble, just say so, and we only come back for the coffee. The point is that you leave with something you're proud of, whether you're a beginner or just dropping in for advice.
